The Episcopal Clerical Directory 2005,
published every two years, is a bound book plus searchable and exportable
database on CD-ROM. It offers biographical and other data provided by
clergy members and parishes. Please visit the Church
Publishing Bookstore to purchase a copy of the book.
For privacy reasons, the print/CD-ROM edition contains much more biographical
information than we can make available in this online edition. However,
this site is regularly updated, so some online data may be newer.
Church Publishing cannot guarantee accuracy of biographical data. |

How do I update my profile? To submit changes to
the Directory, write to Church Publishing Incorporated, 445 Fifth Avenue,
New York NY 10016, or send a fax to (212) 779-3392.
For security, the signature of the cleric must accompany all submissions.
What if I am not listed?
There are several possible reasons you might not find yourself in this
listing:
- You are recently ordained, that is, after September 2002.
- You did not receive an update form in December 2002. This is especially
possible for local clergy and vocational deacons who are in non-stipendiary
positions. If you did not receive one, please write to us under the
category "Your Comments."
- You are being ordained in the next few months. No data is entered
until after the actual event and after ordination information is submitted
to the Recorder of Ordinations at the Church Pension Fund. Changes in
canonical residence or ordination information are made by the Recorder
of Ordinations, who informs Church Publishing that a written confirmation
is on file from the diocese.
- You are not canonically resident in ECUSA. In order to be listed in
the Episcopal Clerical Directory, you must be a bishop, priest, or deacon
in good standing, and canonically resident in one of the dioceses of
The Episcopal Church in the United States of America.
- You have transferred to a diocese in another province of the Anglican
Communion. Clergy in good standing who have transferred to another province
of the Anglican Communion are identified with the phase "transferred
out of ECUSA" and will not appear again in the Episcopal Clerical Directory
unless their work brings them back to ECUSA.
